Museum Board (white) is the best on the market and is eco-friendly. It’s 100% cotton and is acid and lignin free. Museums use it to preserve art and artifacts for maximum longevity. Museum Board will last well over 100 years before it starts to yellow and damage the print underneath.
Conservation Board (off-white) provides a long lasting board at a more affordable price. It’s made of alpha-cellulose and is acid and lignin free. It will last up to 100 years before it starts to yellow and damage the print underneath.
We offer both 8x10 and 11x14 Pre-Cut Mats. The Museum Board will give you a choice between 4 Ply or 8 Ply.
We recommend buying all Museum Board or all Conservation Board. Their white points don’t match, so we don’t recommend mixing them.
